About Us

Drawing on over two decades of experience, we know where the industry has been—and where it needs to go

Founder, Micah Brown a native Californian, has been a business owner in the Custom Integration industry for over 20 years and involved AV for over 30. We have worked with hundreds of clients throughout the Northern California Bay Area, from the coast, through wine country and in the mountains. Along the way, we’ve had the privilege of doing projects with a wide spectrum of clients—from families and friends to executives and athletes—each with unique needs and expectations.

Our history has taught us a lot: what works well, what often goes wrong, and how the client experience can and should be improved. Too often, integration projects are weighed down by the same challenges: communication issues, a reactive philosophy, and technology that feels complicated; designed by and for an integrator. Our approach is different—proactive, thoughtful, and rooted in listening first.

Custom integration is about more than just the equipment; it’s about the people who live with it every day. People’s relationship with technology is always better when the partnership behind it works. That’s why our focus is on building relationships, fostering trust, curating and servicing solutions that enhance everyday life in a way that feels seamless and natural.

The Story Behind the Name

Red Fir (Abies magnifica), also know as Silver Tip graces the Sierra Nevada mountains. It typically grows more than 6000 feet above sea level where it dominates vast, high elevation forests. Though it starts life small, it has magnificent potential. It is a hearty evergreen, a symbol for growth and new beginnings.

A Bay Area Native, I grew up and continue to spend as much time as I can in the Mountains. Truckee is my home away from home.

"The fairest picture the whole earth affords" and a place to "breathe the same air as the angels". - Mark Twain - Visited Lake Tahoe, 1861.
